SCI-Southwest Spring 2019 Regional Symposium

The SENCER Center for Innovation-Southwest Spring 2019 Regional Symposium will take place at Texas Woman's University in the Ann Stuart Science Complex on February 1, 2019.  This years symposium theme will be Democracy, Civic Engagement and Student Learning. There will be four plenaries followed by two concurrent tacks: Citizen Science, and Democratic Engagement. A poster session will also be offered from 10:30 to 12:00. Presenters will be nationally known leaders in the SENCER (Science Education for New Civic Engagement and Responsibilities) network and Texas Women's University. The meeting is free but we ask you to register in order to assist us with planning space and food for the event.
