The SENCER Center for Innovation—Southwest Spring 2018 Regional Symposium will take place at Texas Woman's University in the Ann Stuart Science Complex on February 2, 2018. The plenary keynote “Civic Engagement by Design will be delivered by Caryn McTighe Musil, Senior Scholar and Director of Civic Learning and Democracy Initiatives at the Association of American Colleges and Universities (AAC&U). Other presenters will be nationally known leaders in the SENCER (Science Education for New Civic Engagement and Responsibilities) network. This year’s format is new and refreshed—we hope it will make it easier to attend since we are starting at midmorning on Friday. The meeting is free but we ask you to register in order to assist us with planning food events.
